The SJ/C Laboratories participate in the College of American Pathologists (CAP) Laboratory Accreditation Program and have Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) certifications through the Center for Medical and Medicaid Services (CMS). The SJ/C Laboratories are full-service laboratories offering diagnostic services, pathology services, and outreach reference laboratory services.

Pap Smears will return to the SJ/C Laboratory in-house test menu on July 29, 2024. The ThinPrep liquid-based technique will be utilized for Pap smear testing. HPV and CT/NG testing can be performed on ThinPrep gynecological specimens for patient convenience. Pap Letter Sent to Providers
