Storage/Transport Temperature

Refrigerate for up to 72 hours.
Freeze if testing will not be performed within 72 hours.
Unacceptable Conditions
Stool sent in Cary Blair or with other additive.
Reference Interval
Resulted as: Negative, Equivocal, or Positive
Notes
Negative: Indicates the absence of H. pylori stool antigen.
Equivocal: Recommend recollecting a new specimen for repeat testing.
Positive: Indicates the presence of detectable H. pylori stool
antigen.
