Our information system shares data acrocss the CHI Health system, providing continuity of patient care by delivering accurate laboratory information to the right place and person at the right time.
CHI Health Laboratory maintains a current CLIA number through the United States Health and Human Services Centers Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). CHI Health Laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists and is HIPAA compliant.

*The New Year Means Updated Insurance Information
January 2025 is the start of a new year and it also means new insurance for patients. Attach a copy of the front and back of the insurance card(s) on all lab orders. When patients’ plans change the ID or Group # may change. Patients often don’t even realize it. They just know they have the same insurance carrier, i.e. Blue Cross Blue Shield. For Epic users, make sure new cards are scanned timely and insurance is updated in Epic. We appreciate your help to ensure that the correct insurance is billed.
