Samples collected using cobas PCR Media (CPM) on patients >14 years old can be run in-house and do not require recollection

This Chlamydia trachomatis/Neisseria gonorrhoeae (CT/NG) test is not intended to replace other exams or tests for diagnosis of urogenital infection. Patients may have cervicitis, urethritis, urinary tract infections, or vaginal infections due to other causes or concurrent infections with other agents.

These specimens will be sent following legal protocols set by the Children’s Justice Department to a reference lab where positive identification of organism is confirmed through repeat testing or alternate method.
